In their first meeting since the election, Sen. McCain and President-elect Obama sat down this week to discuss future collaborative efforts. Torture was likely one of the topics on the table, as Obama has indicated he'll attempt to close the Guantanamo Bay prison, a move McCain previously endorsed. But as the first tentative steps are taken towards the prison's closure, others fear that closing Gitmo will weaken our national security, insisting we've gained invaluable intelligence.
