Kim and Khloe Kardashian May Be Sued For QuickTrim Endorsement

Kim Kardashian and sister Khloe may be facing a possible lawsuit over the diet product QuickTrim, which the girls endorsed.

The detractors say the product has high levels of caffeine. This is a problem because the FDA determined that “caffeine is not safe or effective for weight loss.”

The product has reportedly gained $45 million in revenue since its conception in 2009.

The law firm Bursor & Fisher is planning to sue Windmill Health Products and the Kardashians for their marketing claims. The firm claims that “the active ingredient in QuickTrim weight loss products is a large dose of caffeine. . . The FDA has determined that caffeine is not safe or effective for weight loss.”

In January 2010, Kim claimed to have used QuickTrim to shed 15 pounds in just a few weeks. Both sisters have starred in commercials for the product as well.

Here’s the thing, this firm is obviously just trying to get some cash and some publicity.
